A short film about blending CGI characters into live-action footage, with an environmental message. A boy litters and finds himself face to face with a giant, sentient balloon that scolds him for it.
Full VFX pipeline: character design, storyboard and animatic, then 3D modelling, character animation, physics simulations, tracking in Cinema 4D, integration and compositing. Edit and colour in DaVinci Resolve.
A serious message told with a light, playful tone.
